Safaa Farid’s velvet singing voice can be heard on several dance CDs including “Layali Yasmina”, “Heya di Yasmina” and Badia’s “Delaa el Helween”.

Dancers Mohamed Khazafy and Sayed Amar joined the group in October 2004 and have become an important part of the show offering the folkloric element. The musicians of Fer’et el Negoum have been the resident orchestra at Raqia Hassan's Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival for 5 years and more recently the Nile group festival in Cairo Egypt. They have entertained festival participants and accompanied “guest” performers from around the world.

“The centerpiece of the whole spectacle was the El Negoum Orchestra” wrote one review in “Ishtar” the Oriental dance magazine for Finnish dance lovers “ The power and sometimes also the unexpectedness of live music gave enormous stimulation both to the new and experienced dancers, The intimacy of the music as well as the presence of the musicians carried the dancers through the night".
